The Pembrokeshire Surf & Sup Centre is the longest running Surf & SUP centre in Wales and is located in Pembroke. We work right on the beach with Outer Reef at Fresh Water West & at Stackpole quay right next to Barafundle giving us the perfect location for Surfing & Stand up paddle boarding, either out on the sea or on the nearby rivers.

We aim to offer something for everyone, from relaxed river cruises to extreme weekends away and everything in between!

Relaxing or adventurous you can have it all we'll take you on an otherwise untouchable section of our coastline far from any signs of inhabitation. As you paddle, the natural beauty of rock formation & imposing caves is so breathtaking your feel as if you have left the real world behind you.

Paddling into the caves, swim inside the caverns or just enjoying gliding across the coast, jump off the rocks practice moving up and down the board and working on your stroke or just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views, you decide how far you want to take the trip.

We’re so lucky in Pembrokeshire as most of our coastline is a National Park and paddle boarding is one of the best ways to explore it.

On flat water, paddle boarding offers the ability to silently explore rivers, estuaries, and coastlines but in the waves it enables you to catch them early and access breaks which other surfers can’t reach.

We run courses for the complete novice & train ISA sup instructor award. We the basics such as board and paddle types, foot positioning and sea safety. If you already surf, try a more advanced course covering paddle strokes, turning quickly, catching waves and board control in whitewater.

Just remember whilst you have all this fun it’s also developing your core fitness. Beats going to the gym any day! Coasteering is suitable for anyone over the age of 8 (children aged 14 or under must be accompanied by a participating or a responsible adult) these sessions are designed to suit all abilities, from those who want to take a tranquil amble around the coast to those who are looking for an adrenalin buzz. Our guides will spend time getting to know you and make sure the session is tailored to your needs and abilities. When and where?

we run daily throughout Whitsun half term. Following that Weekend only until the summer holidays & daily throughout the 6 weeks summer holidays – coasteering at Stackpole Quay.

Morning outings start at 9:30am

Afternoon outings start at 1:30 pm

Park at Stackpole Quay - The National Trust visitor reception staff will take your details and show you where to go from there.

We’ll provide:

* Free parking at Stackpole Quarry car park for the duration of the activity

* A friendly and fully qualified guide

* Wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet

* Safety Equipment

You’ll need to bring

* Towels and a wash bag (for our dedicated changing facility and shower block)

* Old plimsoles / trainers (not Crocs or flip-flops) or wet suit beach shoes to get wet

* Swimwear

* Sun tan lotion

* Shorts to wear over a wet suit

* Warm clothes to change into after the session
